Alright! I know I haven’t done this for a long time (I’m sorry!), but I promise you I will post as much as I can. I really love blogging, makeup and everything related to it and taking cute pictures of everything I buy. Because I am a makeup junkie (addict too).
This time I am here to share my thoughts on the recent product I received from Influenster for testing and review purposes in one of their most recent custom VoxBoxes: the Air Blush Soft Glow Duo by Marc Jacobs Beauty. Check it out!
Sorry for the sucky quality of the pics, it has being hella raining here since 4 days ago and there’s no sunlight. Phone’s camera doesn’t work well without direct sunlight… anyways, isn’t it gorgeous? Isn’t it?
First thing: this blush duo wears a long way, all day. It is pigmented enough to give a radiant flush to the cheeks without being too much. The stripped pattern, inspired by a Marc Jacobs dress, allows to pick the powder and blend the two colors as much needed to create a custom flush according to what we want.
The compact is really lovely. It reminds me of a coin purse (a classy one, of course). I loved the mirror very much! Not so big, not so small, perfect to retouch out pout. It slips conveniently and easily in my makeup purse.
The shade I received is called (504) Kink & Kisses (I giggle a lot when reading the name), which is considered a Pale Petal (the lightest color) and Peachy Rose (the darkest one) duo.
The Air Blush Soft Glow Duo comes in a variety of 5 shades, included the one I received: 500 – Lush & Libido (petal pink/ orchid pink), 502 – Lines & Last Night (creamsicle/ deep tangerine), 506 – Flesh & Fantasy (ivory shimmer/ goddess bronze) and 508 – Night Fever & Hot Stuff (cherry/ deep plum). And honestly, I WANT THEM ALL. Seriously, they’re just too pretty to pass!
Here are some quick swatches of the blush:
I don’t know how they did it, but Influenster sent the perfect shade for me. If being sent was not the case, I would definitely bought this shade first from the other ones. I simply love the way it looks on me. My skin is a medium tone almost for everything, and not so many colors compliment it. But this blush duo surprisingly suits me nicely.
Oh, it doesn’t have any smell at all, not even the plastic-y smell some new cosmetics come with. It is formulated without parabens, sulfates or phthalates, so fear not if you have sensitive skin sense of smell.
Here’s the way I look wearing it the day I hit the road for speech therapy (yes, you guessed, it was raining and that’s why it looks dark):
(Don’t mind the ugliness of me face hehe…)
QUESTION: Which shade from this blush collection you like the most?
I am seriously thinking about buying the other 4. But it will take some time to save that much money. This blush retails at $42 a pop. Is it worth it? Every penny.

I received my Air Blush Soft Glow VoxBox compliments from Influenster to try and review in exchange of my honest opinion, which is reflected in this entry.
